South West Rocks draws people who want a quiet coastal life, and plenty of residents have retired here permanently after years of holidays. It is a beautiful place to grow older, though it does mean that some services and specialists are a drive away. Good home care closes that gap.

Life in Nambucca Heads is closely tied to the river and the coast, and a lot of our clients have retired here after years of visiting. That can mean family are further away than they would like — which makes reliable, consistent home care all the more important.

Support at Home in Sawtell

Carexcell provides Support at Home services in Sawtell and the surrounding southern Coffs suburbs, helping older people stay independent in their own homes.

Sawtell has a village feel that people are reluctant to give up — the cafes along First Avenue, the beach, the bowls club, neighbours who notice when you have not been out for a few days. Home care here works best when it supports those habits rather than replacing them, which is how we approach every plan.

Carexcell is based in Coffs Harbour, and Support at Home is what we do here every day — helping older people across the city and its suburbs stay safe, comfortable and independent at home.

Coffs Harbour is the service centre for the whole Mid North Coast: the hospital, the specialists, the major shopping centres and the community organisations are all here. That makes it easier to arrange the right care, and it also means older residents often end up coordinating a lot of different appointments and services. We take that load off you.

We support clients across Coffs Harbour and in Korora, Toormina, Boambee, North Boambee Valley and Moonee Beach.

Support at Home in Woolgoolga

Carexcell provides Support at Home services in Woolgoolga and the northern beaches of the Coffs Coast, helping older people live safely and well in their own homes.

Woolgoolga is a close community with a proud multicultural history, and the families here often care for their older relatives themselves for as long as they can. Our role is usually to support that arrangement — filling the gaps, taking the physically demanding tasks off a family carer, and providing reliable help so nobody is stretched too thin.

Carexcell provides Support at Home services in Maclean and across the Lower Clarence, helping older people stay living safely and independently at home.

Maclean is a town with a strong sense of itself — the Scottish heritage, the tartan poles up the main street, the view from the lookout, and the cane country stretching out around it. Older residents here tend to have deep local ties, and staying at home usually means staying close to family, the shops and the people they have known for years.

CONNECT is Carexcell’s social and community participation program designed to help people interact at their own pace, using communication styles that feel natural and authentic. There is no pressure to talk, perform or “fit in” — instead, CONNECT offers a warm, encouraging environment where everyone is respected and welcomed exactly as they are.

Support at Home in Yamba

Carexcell provides Support at Home services in Yamba and the Lower Clarence, helping older people live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Yamba life tends to be built around the water and around routine, the morning walk, the club, the drive to the shops, the family who come to stay over summer. The right home care should protect those routines rather than interrupt them, and that is how we plan every care package.

We support clients in Yamba, Angourie, Iluka, Palmers Island and the surrounding Lower Clarence communities.
